Our process has been developed over the last 30 years and is continuously changing with the market and our growing business to help usserve our customers better everyday.
How You Heard About Adkins:
Referral: A friend or family member referred you to us. This is where most of our work is generated!
Previous Customer: Most of our customers come back when they are ready for more home improvements.
Website: Just starting and didn’t know where to start? We can help answer any of your questions. If you don’t find your answers on our website, contact us through email or call one of our showrooms.
Visit Showroom: Stop by to see and test our products. We have most products on display one of our friendly staff members can help with any questions.
Free Consultation:
Set Up: Click here or call one of our showrooms. Don’t worry we will come to your home for one window/door or a whole houseful. If your not sure if your windows need replacement, you can feel confident we are going to tell you the truth.
Arrival/Presentation: When we arrive we will treat you and your home as we would expect someone to treat ours. We will then tell you some important things about our company, explain the products and their functions and options, and answer any questions that you have.
Measuring: We will go to each window/door with you, measure correctly and note any options wanted or needed.
Pricing: We will then sit down and figure out prices for your project. (Depending on size of project, different options and product selection we may require a second meeting). When we are finished calculating, we will present to you. We will not try to high pressure you into buying! Adkins & Sons knows home improvement projects take some time to think over and you may want to get a comparable quote. We are very competitive and feel you are receiving more for your money from us.
Ordering: Once you’ve made your decision we will sign paper work and start the ordering process. We send over order to chosen manufacturer and get order confirmation back.
Scheduling: Once windows are built, the manufacturer contacts us with delivery date. We then contact you and schedule the job. Most projects take one-to-two days but could take longer based on the size of your project.
Install Day: The A-Team will arrive at scheduled time and introduce themselves. The lead installer will explain the process for you and answer any questions. We then start setting up: laying out floor protection, setting up saws and ladders where needed. Once set up, installation will start. We have a systematic process and do not just rip out every window. Just as we set up we then break down, leaving your home as if we were never there. When installation is complete the lead installer will walk through with you, making sure everything is finished and you are 100% satisfied.
Completion: Once the walk through is complete there is paper work to fill out. In this paper work is a check list to make sure everything is completed. If any service issues exist, they are marked by installer. Also, payment confirmation is done at this step. We accept all major credit cards, check, and cash. Permit, warranty, and maintenance paper work will be given to you at this time. The A-Team rolls out of your driveway and you become another happy Adkins & Sons customer!
Post project:
After your home is completed feel free to call with any questions. We build a relationship around quality and trust, this makes us an important asset to your peace of mind. You may receive a survey in the mail, this is used to help better our business relationships with customers. You will also be entered into our Advantage program where you receive a monthly newsletter with tips on how to maintain your home, promotions, and how to earn points to redeem for gift cards to restaurants, cash cards, and other prizes.
