Q:  Are consultations free?
A:  Yes, we believe it is our job to serve you!  Many of our competitors are now charging for estimates – we don’t.

Q: What is your work area?
A:  We work in all of Southeastern Michigan.  We have done jobs as far as Cheboygan, Kalamazoo & Maumee Ohio.  If your not sure, Ask!

Q: How long have you been in business?
A:  We’ve been in business since 1979 and are proud of our good-standing in the area.

Q:  Are you licensed and insured?
A:  Absolutely! When you hire Adkins & Sons to work in your home, know that the company is fully insured with the highest limits. A copy of our insurance certificate with your address on it is available upon request. This insurance protects you, your family and your home in the event that anything unfortunate should happen.

Q:  Do you offer financing?
A:  Yes, we finance through Wells-Fargo Bank.  There are many 0% interest programs from 3 months – 3 years.

Q: Do both husband and wife need to be present for estimate?
A:  No,  we understand that most people are busy and it is hard to get together all at once.  We also encourage you to come into the showroom or have us send product information prior to your appointment.

Q:  Do we have to replace all of our windows doors at once?
A:  No, we would be more than happy to quote all or just 1 window/door!  One of our trained sales staff can help determine if a window is truly bad or can wait to be replaced. We are confident that once you’ve seen our work, you’ll have us back for more!

Q:  How long is the Proposal valid?
A:  Generally 1 year unless products have a price change.

Q:  Does Adkins & Sons remove all of the old materials?
A:  Yes, unless you specify that you’d like to keep old product.

Q: Are your products GREEN?
A: The majority of our products are GREEN certified!  New windows and doors is one of the best, green friendly upgrades to your home!

Q:  What do we need to do before install?
A:  A few minor things;  remove pictures/trinkets around area of work, remove blinds or draperies that are going to be saved,  and clear the driveway for our work area.

Q:  Do you clean up?
A: Yes, we like to leave work areas the same if not cleaner than when we arrived!

Q: When does my warranty start?
A:  All warranties start the day the job is completed.  Check our products for more details.

Q:  How do I pay?
A: We require a 50% deposit and 50% upon completion unless financed.  We also accept all major credit cards, check or cash.
