We had our windows installed on Friday, Novermber 7th. We absolutely love the windows. There’s a big difference in the noise level. Living where we do- there is constant noise and with our new windows the noise level has calmed down so much.
The windows with the blind inserts are so beautiful. They are not only nice-looking from the inside but from the outside as well. I have arthritis and I was so surprised how easy the windows are to operate.
The gentlemen that installed the windows were always friendly, courteous, kind, professional and extended great customer service. Pat, Chris, Mark and Ray are great representatives for Adkins & Sons. Please recognize these gentlemen for a great job. They have more than earned it and are very deserving of the acknowledgement.
Mr. Adkins, we appreciate your time and consideration in visiting our home several times to make sure that the window measurements were done correctly. Meeting with us in the office showing us all the windows and explaining in detail what would be right for our home. Cindy was always right there to answer questions and to help us. She is very professional and well-informed of the products. You and the gentlemen, plus Cindy take great pride in what you do and it shows in your work and products. Just wanted to let you know how wonderful it was to work with Pat, Rachel and Kyle.
Questions were answered, call backs were made as promised and appointments were kept as scheduled.
Not only was Pat helpful with product information and installation, he was also very helpful with little tips on staining and finishing the wood trim around the doorwall since I had decided to do that myself.
Rachel went out of here way to check financing etc. and was exceptional at getting back with us when necessary.
Kyle and Pat were involved in the installation and both were very personable, efficient and organized.
Neither my husband or I would hesitate to have other replacements or repairs done by their company.

Dear Rachel, Pat and Crew of Adkins,
This letter is just to thank you all for the wonderful service and great products we’ve enjoyed since contracting Adkins & Sons last fall for our home improvements. The Pella bow window is a real compliment magnet. Everyone loves it, most of all the owners. The window looks great, the craftsmanship in installing it was first rate, and it has completely changed the look and feel of our living room and the street presence of our home.
The new French doors make the whole living room-dining room space feel so much bigger and they let in much more light. I’m really impressed with the quality of the cut-out, including the brick lines, and the trim. No cracks in the ceiling or plaster walls- really nice work.
The new siding and remaining windows complete the outside finish and look for the house and do a great job matching the work on our addition of several years ago. We can’t wait for the new front door to complete the project. Pat was especially helpful in advising how to save money on the garage and half-bath windows without sacrificing appearance or quality, and Rachel handled our hundreds of questions with patience and skill. We really felt a sense of collaboration on the entire project from start to finish.
The very best part of this whole experience, though, has been working with your staff. You really have a first-rate crew, and I’ve had much experience with many others. They were uniformly polite, careful about our house and cleaning up, very friendly, and above all, very skilled.

Dear Kyle,
What began as the makings of a potential nightmare, turned out to be a wonderful experience for my family and I. One hears so many “horror stories” these days about irresponsible construction contractors, and thing-gone-wrong from friends and acquaintances. Because this was our first experience at having major construction done to our home, I am sure that you can understand our initial paranoia.
As you may recall, we first sat down with you in September to plan out our job, and I must tell you that the manner in which you conduct your business gained our trust immediately. Your experience, attention to detail, perfectionism, professionalism, and the staff you have equipped yourself with are all impeccable. From Cindy and Rachel in the office, to Pat, Mark, Chris and the guys out on the job; professionals, every one. Even your sub-contractors meet your high standards.
Why am I surprised? Because of the level of magnitude of the job on our home. I can only describe it as major. There were so many opportunities for a contractor to have “cut corners”. But you didn’t. After all, we’re talking about and old 1943 WWII-Era frame bungalow here. New Pella Designer Casement windows throughout, enlarging several of them, oak window casing, add 16” overhangs to the roof gables, new laminated shingle roof, new vinyl siding and gutters, vents new side storm door. Everything completed to our specifications, and ahead of schedule. The house literally looks new.
One of our neighbors across the street took the time to write on her Christmas card to us this year, “How does it feel to be able to living in a new house, without having the hassles of moving? The house looks great!” I can tell you that it feels great!
Kyle, I plan to utilize Adkins & Sons for all of my future remodeling projects. Additionally, I will recommend your firm to anyone who asks me, “Who’s the best?”

Dear Kyle,
Just a note to let you k now how happy we are with our Pella windows. It’s been a month since the work was completed ad we’ve had time to check everything out in good weather and bad and everything is perfect. We love them- especially the bow and bay windows. The “between the glass” blinds on all of the windows are just wonderful.
I just can’t say enough about your excellent work crew- Pat, Mark, Chris! It was amazing watching them work. Not only are they meticulous about their work, their pleasant attitude made this whole experience a good one. And, Cindy! She was a great help to us from beginning to end. She and John were wonderful about coming to our house with many samples of wood stain and suggestions until we came up with the perfect color.
Finally, Kyle, we were impressed with you, the hours you spent with us and coming over regularly to check the work. You are justifiably proud of your company and we would highly recommend Adkins & Sons to anyone considering work on their home.

Dear Kyle,
We would like to thank you and your crew for an efficient job on our Pella windows and trim. It is beautiful! We came to you to fix a botched job by another window company. Not only did we have problems with the windows themselves and the installers, we could not even get the contractor to come and see what the problems were. Oh, they installed another set of windows, which were still bad and still would not come to look at the job, even though they left us tore up for months. You were out the following day to see if the job went well and if we were happy. And that, we are!
Your crew was courteous, polite, and efficient. It was as they were installing, we found the other installer had not even put in enough insulation. Your crew covered all of our carpet so it would not get soiled while they did inside work. The outside work area was completely cleaned on completion, another problem with the other contractor. It was truly a joy to do business with you. Like a breath of fresh air, as they say.
I guess the bottom line is beware of price and an installer that shows up in a pick-up truck without proper tools. You were a little higher but, the quality of the product, workmanship and installers were well worth the difference.
We will definitely be back if we replace other windows. We will be referring you to anyone who needs work done. Thanks again for a great job!

Dear Kyle,
Based upon our experience with your company almost nine years ago when you installed new Pella windows, doorwalls, built a deck, and put on a new roof, when we decided to completely remodel our kitchen there was no doubt in our minds as to whom we would contact to do this job. The though of getting a bid from another contractor was out of the question. We know the quality of your work, and that was all that was necessary.
Walking into your office for the first time in about nine years, not only did you remember our names but the job and the house as well. That’s impressive.
We had a general idea of what we wanted to have done, but your ideas and suggestions made everything come together smoothly. The only thing we had to do was pick out cabinets, countertop, and tile.
We must compliment the men that did the work. They were friendly yet professional. They arrived at the time they told us, put in a full days work, and made sure that everything was cleaned up before they left each day. Knowing that we have two dogs, they were especially careful not to leave anything around that could hurt them. We really appreciated this extra concern on their part.
Be assured that for any future projects we may decide to undertake, you will be the one that we contact. We would definitely recommend Adkins & Sons to anyone who wants to be assured of quality work.
